“Mutation From Lab 55” – A Sci-Fi/Action/Comedy/Horror Feature Film – “In classic B-movie tradition “Mutation From Lab 55” is a sci-fi/action/comedy/horror with a driving, edgy, alternative underground soundtrack. Clean-cut honor student Ricky LaPine gets his loser buddy Eddie a job at his dads cleaning service company, Valu-Clean “you make the mess we’ll do the rest” only to cost him his life in the process, or does it? While cleaning up in the Governments secret Lab 55 on the night shift, typical jokester Eddie figures it would be funny to fuck around with his good bud Rick. After an unfortunate accident with some highly toxic experimental military chemicals, Eddie freaks out leaving his buddy Ricky for dead and stuffing his corpse in an unmarked 50 gallon Barrel. Months later a chance encounter in the pisser at the local bar leads to Eddie’s buddy Johnny hooking him up with yet another job. This time at the local movie production support house, “Hollywood props”. A rash of what is thought to be several employees walking off the job, leaves the ultra-hardass owner, Mr. McDonald, so desperate that he hires the ultimate loser/slacker, Eddie. Just two days into the job, while he is hunting down some props on the second floor, Eddie is drawn to a familiar sound of the Mr. Turtle jingle, their was only one person in the world that watched that damn show….Ricky LaPine. Eddie looks on in horror to discover the accident-gone-bad - his buddy Ricky has somehow transmuted into a half- man half-military monster who has captured a the missing employees and is using them for his own experiment, transforming them through a series of blood transfusions and brainwashing sessions into his own Army of military mutants killers, hell bent on taking over the world.
